Performers
Our PERFORMERS classes are suitable for 4-19 year olds, of all abilities and are divided into four age groups:
JUNIORS (school years reception to year 3)
INTERS (school years 4 to 6)
INTERS PLUS (school years 7 to 9)
SENIORS (school years 10 to 13+)
The classes focus on Acting, Singing and Dancing.
Performance OPPORTUNITIES
Students have the opportunity to:-

perform in fully costumed and staged shows

perform in fully costumed and staged showcases

perform in drama festivals

take part in our play in a week Summer Schools

attend TV and Film workshops
Our Senior students also have the opportunity to perform in our 'Curtain up' evenings.
Price
Our classes run during school term time and usually consist of 12 lessons. Prices start from just £82 a term*, with the cost of senior classes starting from £130.
A 40% discount for siblings is available.
*We offer a discounted rate to the students of Avonwood Primary school. Contact Lizzie for more details.

Uniform
Our Uniform consists of a Pure Drama T-shirt or Polo Shirt (senior students), black leggings/joggers and black Jazz shoes. These must be worn to every class

ACTORS
Our ACTORS classes are suitable for 4-19 year olds, of all abilities and are divided into four age groups:

PURE DRAMA is a registered LAMDA exam centre.
Our LAMDA classes are suitable for 4-19 year olds. The classes are taught privately or in small groups ( No more than 6 in a group) and are open to anyone looking to gain confidence, skills and experience in speech, communication and performance, or simply looking for a new challenge!
Whether you're interested in musical theatre, love to act, perform poetry or want to improve your public speaking skills; there is a LAMDA Qualification for you. Our registers are open all year round so you are welcome to join us whenever you'd like.
LAMDA is an internationally recognised qualification and from Grade 6 onwards provides the leaner with UCAS points.

SOLO ACTING
Build communications and life skills while developing strong physical and vocal skills.
SOLO MUSICAL THEATRE
Enhance self-confidence by combining singing and acting to tell stories.
SOLO VERSE AND PROSE & SOLO PUBLIC SPEAKING
Develop a clear speaking voice, good body language and self confidence by exploring spoken language.
PERFORMANCE OPPORTUNITIES
Our LAMDA Students are invited to perform in our 'Curtin Up' evenings
Our LAMDA students also compete in various Competitions and Festivals.
Pure Drama students have had great success at these festivals, coming home with numerous places and trophies. Including The Junior Drama Champion, The Junior Speech Champion, The Constance Smart Award and The Donald Willoughby Award for most Outstanding competitor
PRICE
Our Private LAMDA sessions start from £17 (depending on the grade being taken) for 30 minutes a week (Paid Termly)
Our Senior Group Repertoire/LAMDA class starts from just £13 for 1 hour a week (Paid Termly)
